And between all the streaming services out there, you've basically got unlimited options to choose from. You can get smart with a documentary, get scared with a horror movie, grant yourself the gift of a good cry with a tearjerker, or find some much-needed lols with a comedy. But no matter what your mood, you can never go wrong with a swoon-worthy love story. And if it's romance you're in the mood for, we've got some of the best romantic movies you can stream on Hulu right now.

From period dramas about forbidden love to sincerely sweet rom-coms, everyone loves a good romance film. Watching two people fall in love is just nice, you know? And of course, there's always some sort of obstacle they have to overcome in order to make it as a couple to keep you on the edge of your seat (sort of). Will they live happily ever after?! The suspense of it all! Relationship drama is so much better when it's not your own.

So pop your popcorn, pour your wine, and cozy up with this roundup of the sweetest romance films Hulu has to offer. Consider your Friday nights booked for the next few weeks.

This offbeat movie follows Sarah, who's at her sister's wedding in Palm Springs and *not* excited about it. She hooks up with a cute guy and then, through a series of bizarre events, finds herself stuck in an infinite time loop. Every morning when she wakes up, it's the morning of her sister's wedding again. But at least she has a companion in Nyles, the cute guy who's stuck in the loop with her. And let me just say, the chemistry between Andy Samburg and Cristin Milioti is off-the-charts adorable.

This romantic drama takes place in the 1850s and follows a woman named Abigail who lives in upstate New York with her husband. A new couple moves in next door, and Abigail quickly becomes smitten with Tallie, the wife. The two women then begin an affair — and things, unsurprisingly, get complicated.

This movie tells the epic love story of Stephen Hawking (maybe you've heard of him?) and his wife Jane. As they face Stephen's diagnosis of motor neurone disease, they find themselves struggling to keep their marriage alive. Make sure you have your tissues handy.

If you've got *feelings* about And Just Like That, go back to a simpler time with the first Sex and the City movie. Unlike the reboot, there's plenty of Samantha in this one.

Make it a double feature with Sex and the City 2, which catches up with the girls two years after the first movie. They fly to Abu Dhabi, where Carrie bumps into her ex-boyfriend Aiden(!!!), and Samantha struggles with menopause. I'll admit, there are some truly cringeworthy moments, but if you can get past those, it's still a fun movie.

This is the quintessential rom-com. Katherine Heigl plays a career-oriented woman who has been a bridesmaid 27(!!) times. She's in love with her boss, who just happens to be marrying her sister after a whirlwind romance. And of course, there's a hot brooding wedding journalist covering the whole thing who stirs up even more dramz.

This heartwarming movie follows Simon, a 16-year-old closeted gay student. Using a pseudonym, he connects with a classmate who is also closeted, and the two start to form a connection. When their emails are leaked by an angry classmate, Simon is forced to come out to his family and friends, but don't worry, there's a happy ending here.

If you've never seen this, wyd??? Jennifer Garner plays Jenna Rink, who wishes to be "30, flirty, and thriving" on her 13th birthday and wakes up to find her wish has come true. She finds her childhood friend Matt, who has grown up to be v hot, but also v engaged. I won't spoil the rest, but rest assured, it's adorable.

To quote this movie, "you should know up front that this is not a love story." But that's not entirely true. Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel play Tom and Summer, two co-workers who are in kind of a situationship. One of them catches feelings, the other one doesn't, and things get messy.

Zack, a popular high school student, makes a bet with his friend that he can turn any girl at their school into the prom queen within six weeks. His friend chooses Laney, an awkward artsy classmate. Zack starts spending lots of time with Laney and realizes there's more to her than meets the eye.

If you've never seen this '80s classic, time to catch up. Molly Ringwald plays Sam, a teenage girl whose family forgets her 16th birthday. She's secretly crushing on a senior named Jake Ryan and rejecting advances from her kind of nerdy classmate, Ted. Tbh, some scenes in this movie haven't aged well, but it's still worth a watch.

This romantic drama follows Ronit, a woman who returns to her Orthodox Jewish community after the death of her father, who was a rabbi. While home, she reconnects with her childhood friend Esti, who is now married to a man in their Orthodox Jewish community. The two then begin a secret affair as Ronit confronts her complicated feelings about religion and her family.

Based on the James Baldwin novel of the same name, this touching film follows Tish and Fonny, a young couple in New York City. Fonny is accused of a crime and put in jail, and shortly after his incarceration, Tish finds out she is pregnant. She leans on her family for support and does everything she can think of to try and overturn Fonny's conviction so he can be there when their child is born.

The hand touch between Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy is the hottest movie scene ever to exist, and I will not be convinced otherwise. This movie adaption of Jane Austen's 1813 novel follows Elizabeth, one of five sisters in an English family, as she struggles with the idea of marriage and her complicated feelings towards the aloof Mr. Darcy.

Another '90s rom-com classic! Drew Barrymore plays Josie, an awkward and insecure journalist who's assigned to go undercover at a high school. At first, she reverts to the insecure personality she had in high school, but with the help of her brother, she starts to fit in with the popular crowd. Along the way, she falls in love with a teacher who feels v awkward about the whole thing because, you know, he thinks she's a student...

Riley and Chris are two high school students who are madly in love. One night, while Riley is driving, they get into a car accident. Riley blames herself for the accident, and Chris remains stuck in a sort of limbo, but they find a way to reconnect despite the tragedy.

Oh, hi, Kate Winslet! This romantic drama is (loosely) inspired by the life of British paleontologist Mary Anning and her suspected relationship with a woman named Charlotte Murchison. Charlotte's husband seeks out Mary and asks her to take Charlotte with her on her morning walks along the beach, where she searches for fossils because he believes it will cure Charlotte's depression. Mary reluctantly agrees, and the two women become close. They realize there's a romantic spark between them, but tensions explode when they get news that Charlotte will be reuniting with her husband in London.

This raunchy rom-com follows Lucy, a young violinist fresh off a breakup. Part of the reason for the breakup was the fact that Lucy has some issues around intimacy, so she decides to make a sexual to-do list. Naturally, she meets a super hot guy at a wedding shortly after, and things get ~spicy~ but also kinda complicated.

Come for the gorgeous shots of Ireland, stay for the equally gorgeous Jon Hamm, Jamie Dornan, and Emily Blunt. This film is about Rosemary, an Irish farmer who is in love with her neighbor Anthony, who is totally oblivious. Anthony's father announces plans to sell his farm to his American nephew instead of Anthony, which prompts Anthony to shape up and start following his dreams.

Sure, it's a Christmas movie, but that doesn't mean you can't watch it year-round. Kristen Stewart plays Abby, who is excited to visit her partner Harper's childhood home for Christmas. But on the drive there, Harper drops a major bomb: she's not out to her family. Abby reluctantly agrees to pretend that she and Harper are platonic friends, but tensions rise once old childhood friends, competitive siblings, and ex-girlfriends (ahem, Aubrey Plaza) enter the picture.

A filmmaking couple goes to the island of Fårö, where the famous filmmaker Ingmar Bergman lived and worked. Their plan for the summer is to work on their respective projects and spend time with family, but they find themselves at odds when one of them feels inspired and productive while the other is hitting a creative block.

Longtime friends Ben and Alice agree to be each other's plus ones for the many, many weddings they're invited to over the course of a year. They attempt to wingman each other, but...well, you can probably guess what ends up happening.

This movie musical is straight-up gorgeous. It follows an aspiring actress and passionate jazz pianist in LA as they meet, fall in love, and pursue their lofty dreams. But you know what they say, fame comes at a cost.

Blake Lively stars as Adaline, who has magically stopped physically aging at the age of 29. As awesome as that may sound, it means that eventually Adaline has to spend the rest of her time adopting new identities and going on the run to escape suspicions. Despite her best intentions, she falls in love with a man named Ellis, only to realize that his father is someone from her past.

This lighthearted rom-com has a fully stacked cast: Halle Berry, Jessica Biel, Jon Bon Jovi, Zac Efron, Sarah Jessica Parker, Ashton Kutcher, and more. It follows a bunch of storylines, including the president of the Times Square Alliance planning the NYE ball drop, an aspiring singer and grumpy artist stuck on an elevator together, two couples having babies on New Year's Eve, an overworked secretary hiring someone to help her get through all of her New Year's resolutions...you get the idea.

All hail rom-com queen of the 2000s, Kate Hudson! In this classic, she dumps Dustin (Jason Biggs), who then tries to win her back by enlisting the services of Tank, his cousin whose side hustle is going on dates with women and behaving horribly to make them realize their ex wasn't so bad after all. But things don't go according to plan...

This sweet movie follows Doris (Sally Field), an eccentric woman in her 60s who falls in love with her much younger co-worker, John (aka Schmidt from New Girl!!). Empowered by self-improvement media, she decides to pursue John. She follows him on social media and does various things to get his attention in hopes that he'll fall in love with her. Who among us hasn't done the same, right?

Honestly, this quirky movie gave us so many iconic quotes like "That ain't no Etch-a-Sketch, this is one doodle that can't be undid, homeskillet." It follows Juno, a pregnant teenager as she navigates her friendship/relationship with the baby's father, her family, and the couple she's chosen to adopt the baby.

Timothée Chalamet's breakout role sees him starring as Elio, a 17-year-old American-Italian living at his family's villa. When Oliver, a handsome American scholar comes to stay there for a summer, Elio finds himself attracted to Oliver — and the feelings are mutual.

Fun fact: the entire cast was maybe a little drunk during filming, thanks to the free-flowing ouzo (a Greek liquor) on set. This classic musical follows a young woman on the eve of her wedding, who tracks down the three men who could potentially be her father and invites them all — without warning her mother. They sing ABBA songs, and shenanigans ensue. What more could you ask for on your big day?
